Catalyst Direct, Inc., hires four, promotes two

ROCHESTER, NY—Catalyst Direct, Inc., has added four new members to its staff and promoted two.

Pat Scutella has been hired as teleservices representative. Scutella joins Catalyst from Concentrix Corporation, where he first gained experience in the teleservices industry.
In his role at Catalyst, Scutella will be responsible for monitoring inbound phone lines for multiple client initiatives, maintaining the Ricoh email inbox, and providing other backup as needed. Scutella will attend Genesee Community College this fall and plans to major in business administration/business management. He resides in Pittsford, NY.

Rich Dalton has joined Catalyst as manager of analytics. Dalton comes to us from HSBC Bank, where he was their senior credit policy/risk analyst. At Catalyst, he will support strategic marketing objectives by interpreting program results, identifying trends and making recommendations. Dalton holds a master of science degree in public policy analysis from the University of Rochester. Dalton lives in Henrietta, NY, and is the assistant coach for his son’s RHAA Baseball Team.

Dave Shelanskey has been hired as senior programmer/analyst. Shelanskey’s last position was with Frontier Communications, where he was a CRM supervisor. At Catalyst, Shelanskey will generate programming code, develop computer programs, perform functional testing, and integrate and analyze results for the agency’s Goodyear business. He holds a bachelor of science degree in computer science from SUNY Brockport and resides in Gates, NY.

Elizabeth Dorscheid has joined the Catalyst team as account executive. She comes from Roberts Communications, where she was an account executive and worked on a number of marketing programs for various clients. Dorscheid will be responsible for the development and implementation of projects for clients such as Kodak, Weyerhaeuser, and Presstek. She earned a bachelor of science degree in business management, with a concentration in marketing from St. John Fisher College and currently lives in Webster, NY.

Chris Zirbel has been promoted to senior account executive. Over the last three years, Zirbel has helped develop and oversee client accounts such as Kodak, Weyerhaeuser, Pitney Bowes and Presstek. He will now help develop and manage sound marketing strategies, direct and support internal teams and ensure client work is done on time and on budget. Zirbel holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a concentration in marketing and a minor in economics from Alfred University. He resides in Greece, NY.

Sharon Feder was promoted to senior programmer/analyst. For nine years, Feder has provided subject matter expertise for a variety of agency clients, including Valvoline, Kodak, Océ, Presstek and Sage Software. She is responsible for generating programming code and developing computer programs, performing functional testing, and the integration and analysis of results. Feder is a graduate of Cornell University and lives in Rochester, NY.
